This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, encompassing workshops, labs, and digital modules, for physicians, staff, and internal stakeholders.
• Tailor training approaches to accommodate various learning preferences and levels of procedural experience.
• Act as the primary instructor during live training sessions, simulations, and case support.
• Offer advanced clinical and technical support during procedures.
• Ensure the safe and effective utilization of robotic systems.
• Gather and analyze training feedback from initial users to enhance curricula and promote adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, medical affairs, and commercial teams.
• Align training initiatives with the evolving capabilities of products and workflow requirements.
• Contribute training insights to evidence generation and product development processes.
• Provide mentorship to CAEs and trainers in adult learning principles, curriculum design, and clinical education best practices.
• Assist in train-the-trainer programs to expand global educational efforts.
• A bachelor's degree in a clinical, scientific, or engineering field, completion of a physician assistant (PA) program, or a nursing degree (BSN or higher).
• Equivalent allied health training will also be considered.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical training, professional education, or medical education within the medical devices, healthcare technology, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing physician training programs, including curriculum development, lab-based training, and digital education.
• Proven ability to engage with KOLs and physician faculty, facilitating procedure adoption through education.
• Strong knowledge of minimally invasive techniques.
• Capability to simplify complex technical concepts into actionable training.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with R&D, marketing, sales, and medical affairs.
• Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and adult learning skills.
• Preferred: experience in leading global clinical or physician education programs, including large-scale course deployments.
• Preferred: success in developing and expanding simulation-based education, mobile learning centers, or digital learning platforms.
• Preferred: history of engaging and nurturing physician faculty/KOLs.
• Must be available for full-time work and able to commute to Sunnyvale, CA as required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–60%, including nights and weekends as necessary.
• Must reside near a major airline hub.
• May need to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19.
