Application Security Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with Cloudflare WAF, overseeing domain migrations, setting up strong security baselines, and developing tailored rules to counter real-time threats.

• Work in close partnership with Engineering and Product teams to ensure Security by Design methodologies are incorporated from technical refinement through to delivery.

• Implement, maintain, and enhance security tools integrated within the pipeline, including SAST, SCA, DAST, and Secret Detection.

• Assist developers in comprehending technical aspects, triaging, and resolving security vulnerabilities.

• Automate security processes and develop scripts utilizing programming languages.

• Ensure adherence to compliance and security best practices within containerized environments and infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Foster the company's security culture by advocating for secure development best practices (Secure Coding).

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Application Security (AppSec) Engineer or in a DevSecOps role.

• Solid hands-on experience with Cloudflare WAF, covering rule configuration, log analysis, false-positive tuning, and domain migrations.

• Proficient in at least one programming language (such as Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) for code reviews and automation.

• Experience in deploying and managing security scanning tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST).

• Understanding of Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Practical knowledge of OWASP Top 10, ASVS, and SANS standards.

• Familiarity with the application of Artificial Intelligence in security is considered a plus.

• EHT and OSCP certifications are a plus.
