This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Supervise and manage the administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise-wide applications for provider credentialing, privileging, and payer enrollment.
• Strategically plan, develop, and oversee the activities related to application development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Ensure the seamless integration of provider data with the eRecord EHR and other enterprise systems.
• Propel initiatives that enhance data integrity, provider lifecycle management, and workflows for credentialing and payer enrollment.
• Guarantee optimal performance, reliability, and security of application systems.
• Lead enhancements to applications, troubleshooting efforts, and provide technical support.
• Oversee all aspects of application lifecycle management, including planning, deployment, and retirement.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and the development of staff.
• Direct daily operations and maintenance of applications related to provider credentialing and payer enrollment.
• Assess application performance and user demands, providing reports and recommendations accordingly.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
• Facilitate risk assessment and management processes in conjunction with the Information Systems Division.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Develop performance metrics and KPIs, utilizing data analytics for quality enhancement.
• Generate, analyze, and present findings related to provider credentialing and data management to leadership.
• Maintain thorough records of credentialing and provider data, as well as IT documentation.
• Manage IT team operations and projects across URM and regional affiliates.
• Conduct performance evaluations and lead career development, coaching, and mentoring for direct reports.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare applications, provider data, or credentialing systems is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven follow-through skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously are required.
• Managerial courage and a willingness to take calculated risks are necessary.
• Ability to effectively communicate with executives, physicians, nurses, and individuals with varying levels of technical expertise is preferred.
• Experience in project management from planning through implementation is preferred.
• Familiarity with relational database management and development is preferred.
• Experience with ETL database processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other healthcare regulatory agencies is preferred.
• Experience in an academic medical center, health care system, or higher education institution is preferred.
