Application Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, direct, and coordinate all tasks related to software development and data integration across various systems.

• Lead teams responsible for delivering software and data integration solutions.

• Ensure that products align with business requirements, adhere to delivery timelines, and meet quality expectations.

• Recruit, develop, guide, and train development personnel.

• Establish and uphold tools, techniques, principles, and practices within the development department.

• Convert business requirements into functional software solutions.

• Promote collaboration with Business Analysts, IT Infrastructure, Product Management, Software Quality Assurance, and business units.

• Provide support, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues promptly.

• Offer business, data, application, and technology consulting during pre-feasibility and feasibility evaluations.

• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.

• At least 4 years of supervisory experience in leading software development or a similar role.

• Proven experience managing medium to large project/development teams.

• Familiarity with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including solution architecture, application design, coding, unit testing, and implementation using various tools and technologies.

• Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.

• Flexibility to work extended or flexible hours as necessary to fulfill job requirements.

• Employees must provide their own reliable internet connection when working in a remote or hybrid capacity.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
