This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, workflows, and supporting services within the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Create user-facing functionalities, backend logic, and workflow features tailored for enterprise applications across finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning.
• Convert user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions with support from senior developers and architects.
• Develop and sustain batch and near-real-time data pipelines that integrate legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.
• Implement data transformations, validations, and quality assurance checks.
• Ensure alignment of development with ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Engage in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and resolution of defects.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend enhancements, including UI components, APIs, pipeline logic, and workflow automation.
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Provide updates on task statuses, identify blockers, and assist in fulfilling delivery commitments.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development practices and tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, peer developers, security personnel, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Support compliant and reliable deployments.
• Apply enterprise architecture standards, secure development practices, and platform development guidelines.
• Build expertise in Palantir Foundry development frameworks, ontology-driven application development, and enterprise data integration methodologies.
• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering tools when applicable.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, and platform-based application delivery.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in developing software applications using Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience in full-stack software development, encompassing frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration.
• Understanding of version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD principles.
• Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.
• Proven experience in building or supporting enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or application integrations across multiple systems.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Background in backend/API development and scripting in Python or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps concepts, containerization, or infrastructure automation.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products.
• Experience in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare.
