Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assess requirements, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for the CMCS system that serves DOD, U.S. Air Force, and government clients.

• Deliver production support.

• Create and maintain system documentation.

• Mentor less experienced team members.

• Innovate new functionalities.

• Conduct break-fix analysis and provide support.

• Operate independently within a defined development lifecycle.

• Comprehend intricate business requirements and collaborate with other DOD and government systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the Z/OS environment, including TSO/ISPF.

• Familiarity with programming languages prioritized as follows: FOCUS, JCL, REXX, COBOL, Assembler.

• Competence in MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Adaptable and/or innovative approach to problem-solving.

• Capability to collaborate in a team setting.

• Willingness to work with colleagues across various time zones in the country.
