Application Architect I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create architectural designs for specific applications or suites of applications, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Produce technical specifications, design documentation, and application models.

• Ensure that application architectures comply with enterprise architecture principles, technology standards, and security protocols.

• Offer technical support and guidance to development teams throughout the application lifecycle.

• Collaborate with solution and enterprise architects to guarantee proper integration with other systems, services, and data sources.

• Perform reviews to assess performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability for assigned applications.

• Investigate, assess, and suggest technologies, frameworks, and tools pertinent to application development.

• Guide developers in design principles, coding best practices, and architectural patterns.

• Work in close partnership with business stakeholders, technical leads, and development teams.

• Contribute to the governance of architecture and the quality of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7–10 years of experience in software development.

• In-depth understanding of application design patterns, architectural best practices, and integration techniques.

• Proficient in major programming languages, development frameworks, and contemporary application stacks.

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL database design, performance optimization, and data modeling.

• Awareness of user experience (UX) factors and their impact on application design.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

• Capacity to balance technical limitations with business requirements and user expectations.
