Application AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Identify the most effective technology solutions from available alternatives to address business challenges.

• Articulate the software architecture, features, behavior, and other relevant details to project stakeholders as well as to software development, quality assurance, and delivery teams.

• Specify features, phases, and requirements for solutions.

• Provide specifications for the definition, management, and delivery of solutions.

• Collaborate with development and testing teams on large-scale enterprise projects.

• Support, guide, and advise on the implementation and maintenance of processes and standards.

• Develop company-wide reference architecture and code libraries to streamline development processes for new initiatives.

• Work in conjunction with software, infrastructure, and business architects in Sofia and other locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET 6/7/8+, Web API, and Minimal API.

• Extensive experience with Entity Framework (6/7/8).

• Intermediate knowledge of React.

• Strong SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server.

• Advanced NoSQL expertise, particularly with Azure Cosmos DB or MongoDB.

• Experience with vector databases/stores like Azure AI Search or Pinecone for RAG patterns is highly preferred.

• Intermediate understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT processes.

• Comprehension of data pipelines that support AI models.

• In-depth knowledge of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and CQRS patterns.

• Advanced understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.

• Expertise in AI/ML solution architecture, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Extensive experience with Azure AI Services.

• Proficiency in implementing Azure OpenAI Service solutions using LLMs such as GPT-4, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.

• Familiarity with the Azure Machine Learning lifecycle, including model training, deployment, management, and MLOps.

• Experience integrating Azure Cognitive Services for Speech, Vision, and Language.

• Advanced knowledge of MLOps practices.

• Proven ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of model versioning, monitoring, and governance.

• Intermediate proficiency in Python for AI applications.

• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a significant advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Azure core services, including Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, and Application Insights.

• Intermediate knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

• Advanced expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD of both application code and ML models.

• Preferred certifications: Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, Azure AI Fundamentals AI-900, GitHub Foundations, or GitHub Actions.
