This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Take charge of keyword research, mapping, and prioritization across all active locales on Google Play and the App Store.
• Manage indexable metadata, including Play title, short and long descriptions, App Store name, subtitle, and keyword fields.
• Develop and maintain reporting for keyword-to-ranking-to-install metrics.
• Conduct ongoing conversion-rate testing via Google Play Store Listing Experiments, iOS Product Page Optimization, and Custom Product Pages.
• Create and oversee creative briefs for icons, screenshots, and preview videos, determining what to test and the rationale behind it.
• Construct and direct Custom Store Listings and Custom Product Pages for specific search and campaign intents.
• Oversee rating averages, review velocity, and review sentiment as critical growth factors.
• Monitor and escalate Android vitals and store policy risks that may impact ranking eligibility.
• Collaborate with the paid agency partner on ASO-related initiatives to ensure that paid and organic acquisition efforts complement each other.
• Identify when growth challenges cannot be resolved through ASO strategies.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct ASO experience with a consumer mobile application.
• Proven experience working with at least one app that has achieved significant scale (100k+ installs/year or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency with Google Play Console and App Store Connect.
• Experience in conducting experiments, interpreting confidence intervals, and differentiating between noise and significant results.
• Familiarity with at least one professional ASO toolset (such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, Asodesk, MobileAction, or similar).
• Capability to independently extract, combine, and analyze install, conversion, and retention data.
• Sufficient statistical literacy to assess store listing tests.
• Experience across multiple locales, preferably including markets where the candidate does not speak the language.
• Proficient in business-level English.
• Background in education, edtech, or subscription-based consumer applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with MMP attribution (Singular) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Hungarian language or experience with CEE markets is a plus.
• Understanding of the trial-to-paid subscription funnel and store traffic quality is beneficial.
