This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Take ownership of keyword research, mapping, and prioritization for all active locales on Google Play and the App Store.
• Oversee indexable metadata, including Play titles, descriptions, App Store names, subtitles, and keyword fields.
• Develop and maintain reporting that connects keywords to rankings and installs.
• Conduct Store Listing Experiments, optimize product pages, and test Custom Product Pages.
• Create and manage creative briefs for icons, screenshots, and promotional videos.
• Develop and target Custom Store Listings and Custom Product Pages tailored to specific search and campaign intents.
• Ensure high-quality, native-level copy across 21 locales.
• Manage ratings, review speed, review sentiment, Android vitals, and potential store policy risks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on activation and retention metrics that influence store ranking algorithms.
• Measure the impact of poor activation and retention on organic growth and advocate for necessary enhancements.
• Partner with paid agency collaborators on ASO-related initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct ASO management experience for a consumer mobile application.
• Proven experience with at least one app achieving significant scale: 100k+ installs per year or equivalent.
• Proficient in using Google Play Console and App Store Connect.
• Experience in running experiments, interpreting confidence intervals, and distinguishing between noise and significant results.
• Familiarity with professional ASO tools like AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, Asodesk, or MobileAction.
• Capacity to pull, combine, and analyze install, conversion, and retention data independently.
• Statistical knowledge sufficient for evaluating store listing tests.
• Experience in multi-locale operations, including markets that the candidate may not personally speak.
• Methodology for assessing copy quality across multilingual markets.
• Proficient in business-level English.
• Nice to have: experience in education, edtech, or subscription-based consumer applications.
• Nice to have: familiarity with MMP attribution, particularly Singular.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Hungarian or experience within CEE markets.
• Nice to have: understanding of the trial-to-paid subscription funnel and the quality of store traffic.
