AP/AR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily assistance to business unit clients and suppliers throughout the complete procure-to-pay cycle.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

• Comprehend organizational structures, business contacts, and key stakeholders.

• Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Monitor the receipt of data and source documents.

• Organize and categorize source documents while interpreting data for input.

• Reach out to document preparers to address questions, discrepancies, or absent information.

• Ensure the maintenance of precise and comprehensive client records and filing systems.

• Execute data entry tasks within the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable System.

• Complete necessary coding, verify data accuracy, and implement corrections as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve collective objectives.

• Conduct general clerical tasks including typing, scanning, copying, answering calls, and filing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Must successfully complete necessary pre-employment screenings, which may include drug testing, criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, physical requirements, and FMSCA Clearinghouse screening.

• An Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
