AP/AR Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Collaborate closely with the AR Expert, AP Coordinator, and the broader Financial Operations team.

• Generate the monthly AR aging report for the CFO and executive team, including an action plan for outstanding amounts.

• Review the weekly payments file, encompassing the Tipalti funding summary, prior to approval.

• Identify customer accounts that may be at risk and coordinate assistance with customer-facing teams.

• Facilitate an accurate and timely month-end close, escalating potential risks to the Head of Financial Operations.

• Enhance and refine accounts payable processes.

• Mentor, coach, and develop two direct reports.

• Ensure accurate financial records and timely payments to customers and suppliers to maximize charitable contributions.

• Capability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable operations on a daily basis.

• Proven experience in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to customers and suppliers.

• Proficient in preparing AR aging reports and KPIs/reporting for senior leadership.

• Skillful in reviewing weekly payments files, including Tipalti funding summaries.

• Aptitude for identifying and escalating financial risks.

• Competence in supporting accurate and timely month-end closure.

• Ability to enhance accounts payable processes.

• Experience in leading and coaching a small team.

• Capability to provide constructive feedback and manage challenging stakeholder or process discussions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to adhere to closing-calendar deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
