This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete payroll process for Australia.

• Collaborate with external providers for payroll management in the UK and Singapore.

• Communicate with the Employer of Record partner regarding employees in various countries.

• Report non-compliance issues and other risks to the Global Payroll Lead.

• Manage the payroll shared drive and ensure historical records are filed accurately.

• Assist in payroll transformation projects, system enhancements, and process standardization across AU, UK, SG, EOR-managed, and future entities.

• Audit and confirm employee-submitted data in Rippling prior to each payroll run.

• Ensure that critical payroll-related employee data is accurately recorded and maintained.

• Identify data quality concerns and communicate them to the Global Payroll Lead and People team.

• Supply payroll data and reporting for Australian state payroll tax returns, insurance premium calculations, annual payroll tax reconciliation, AU and Singapore year-end reports, month-end payroll journals, and leave liability statements.

• Generate ad hoc payroll reports as needed.

• Act as a primary contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries and collaborate with the People & Culture team within Finance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll specialist role or similar, ideally across multiple countries or jurisdictions.

• Proficient understanding of Australian payroll laws and compliance obligations, including Fair Work, superannuation, payday super, STP, and payroll tax.

• Practical experience in processing payroll using Rippling, including management of automated STP reporting and superannuation contributions.

• Familiarity with employee self-service (ESS) systems, including the ability to review and act on employee-submitted modifications.

• Experience in coordinating with external payroll providers and navigating a multi-stage approval process.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data across various systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Clear and confident communication skills to convey payroll information to non-payroll personnel.
