AP Seminar Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide remote instruction for AP Seminar and/or AP Research to a small group of students.

• Conduct 2–3 hours of live classes weekly throughout the academic year.

• Assist students in navigating AP Capstone performance tasks in accordance with the latest College Board standards.

• Develop engaging asynchronous learning activities and assignments.

• Support students in maintaining pace and successfully fulfilling AP course requirements and components.

• Use the LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to create engaging learning experiences.

• Implement instruction utilizing personal effective methods and materials from the official AP Capstone course guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Must possess current College Board AP Seminar/AP Research certification, including completion of necessary College Board training.

• Direct experience in teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research through the College Board's AP Capstone program is required.

• Strong understanding of College Board scoring rubrics, performance task criteria, and submission procedures via the AP Digital Portfolio.

• A master's degree is preferred.

• Experience in teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research in a virtual or online environment is preferred.
