AP English Language and Composition Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Teach AP English Language and Composition remotely to a small group of students.

• Provide 2–3 hours of live instruction weekly throughout the academic year.

• Assist students in mastering the synthesis, rhetorical analysis, and argument essays for the AP exam, along with the multiple-choice rhetorical skills section.

• Develop asynchronous learning activities and assignments to ensure students remain on track and complete the necessary AP course content and components.

• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS), College Board resources, and Zoom to create interactive lessons.

• Instruct using established methods and materials as outlined in the official AP English Language and Composition Course and Exam Description.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Proven experience in teaching AP English Language and Composition.

• Comprehensive understanding of College Board scoring rubrics and the AP English Language and Composition exam’s structure.

• A master's degree is preferred.

• Experience in teaching AP English Language and Composition in a virtual or online environment is preferred.
