AP Accountant, Hungarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Reconcile accounts within the Accounts Payable department.

• Ensure timely follow-up and thorough investigation of outstanding items to prevent aging.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any open or aged Accounts Payable issues.

• Prepare and maintain proper documentation for Accounts Payable accounts.

• Identify and suggest continuous process improvement solutions, including root cause analysis and recommendations.

• Generate and analyze metrics related to Accounts Payable.

• Support efficient, timely, and reliable Accounts Payable processes, encompassing system administration, reconciliations, and audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), including system administration, reconciliations, and audits.

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, or CMA.

• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Hungarian.

• Experience in an international work environment.

• Background in Shared Services Centers (SSC) or Business Services Centers (BSC).

• Ability to identify problems and recommend improvements.

• Capable of working collaboratively within a team.

• Disciplined and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
