This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Develop native Android applications from the ground up, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Specify API needs, utilize RESTful web services, and effectively manage the processing of results.

• Create prototypes that showcase the value and functionality of innovative Android technologies.

• Engage in Agile development processes to fulfill requirements and deliver features from start to finish.

• Work collaboratively with Developers, Designers, and Product Managers to address technical and product-related challenges.

• Adhere to UI/UX guidelines and best practices set by the Design team to ensure exceptional user experiences.

• Play a role in technical decision-making and take responsibility for solutions from concept through to implementation.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing native Android applications.

• Extensive experience with Kotlin and Java, Object-Oriented Design, and the Android platform.

• Strong grasp of the Android ecosystem, including architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

• Familiarity with Android Jetpack Compose.

• Experience in applying Clean Architecture and MVVM design patterns.

• Solid understanding of client/server architectures and web services, such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.

• Proficient understanding of XML and JSON.

• Experience using Git or similar version control systems.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders based in the US.
