Android Developer – AI Remodel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Development and maintenance of an Android application with a focus on user experience

• Implementation of UI components and animations according to design specifications

• Optimization of the application's performance and speed

• Identification and suggestion of new opportunities for enhancing and expanding functionality

• Collaboration with designers, Product Managers, and the Backend team

• Participation in finding solutions that align with user needs and business objectives

• Maintenance of technical documentation

• Support for CI/CD processes

• Focus on code quality and maintainability

• Utilization of AI tools in daily work

• Development of the application in the interior design niche, which ranks in the Top-2 by Revenue and Downloads, with the aim to become Top-1 and expand into related niches

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in Android development

• Proficient knowledge of Kotlin: coroutines, Flow, structured concurrency

• Practical experience in UI development using Jetpack Compose

• Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles in Android development

• Experience applying Clean Architecture: data/domain/presentation, Use Cases, Repository pattern

• Experience working with MVVM or MVI

• Familiarity with Dependency Injection: Hilt or Koin

• Experience with Git

• Active daily use of AI tools — must have: Claude Code, Copilot, or similar

• Experience integrating with APIs: Retrofit or Ktor

• Understanding of REST

• Experience with local data storage solutions: Room, DataStore

• Motivation, proactivity, and the ability to independently drive projects forward

• Product mindset and user-centric approach

• Strong communication skills

• Analytical thinking and a data-driven approach

• A plus: Experience with Firebase, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, or similar

• A plus: Experience with Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or similar
