This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation, enhancement, upgrades, testing, go-live, and stabilization of Epic ancillary applications.

• Manage, mentor, and develop Epic analysts alongside clinical application teams.

• Collaborate with physicians, clinical operations, HIM, patient access, and IT stakeholders to assess and optimize clinical workflows.

• Ensure application performance, build quality, documentation, and compliance with enterprise standards.

• Manage the project scope, timelines, budgets, vendors, and technical resources effectively.

• Guarantee adherence to HIPAA, CMS, ITIL, security, audit, and organizational regulations.

• Lead change management initiatives, provide end-user support, training, and resolve issues.

• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and operational technology budgets.

• Support Epic integrations with other enterprise systems and engage in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Science, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in supporting enterprise clinical or ancillary applications, including at least 3 years in a management role.

• Extensive experience with Epic ancillary applications such as Beaker, Cupid, Lumens, OpTime/Anesthesia, Radiant, and/or Willow.

• Epic certification in a minimum of one ancillary application.

• Experience supporting Epic within a large hospital, health system, or integrated delivery network.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical workflows, Epic architecture, application lifecycle management, and optimization processes.

• Proven experience in leading teams and collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Master’s degree.

• Preferred: 7+ years of Epic ancillary application experience, with over 5 years in leadership or management roles.

• Preferred: Current Epic certification or accreditation in multiple Epic applications.

• Preferred: PMP and/or ITIL certification.

• Preferred: Experience with Epic technical environments, databases, servers, or Nebula.
