This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies throughout the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaborations with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Leverage syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, sustain, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and measure the impact of significant initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to pinpoint and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Cultivate consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to provide integrated solutions.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities, communicate implications and recommended actions, and prioritize high-impact tasks.
• Act as a thought partner by generating innovative ideas to stimulate business growth.
• Enhance processes, work methodologies, and team effectiveness.
• Develop skills and share best practices to elevate team performance.
• Offer flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• 5–10 years of pertinent business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in beverage alcohol is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
