This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for comprehensive category insights support for key Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
• Facilitate analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, recognize opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, sustain, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and measure the effect of key initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to pinpoint and activate growth opportunities related to innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and Business Intelligence, with travel as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Cultivate consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing on integrated solutions driven by insights.
• Identify risks and opportunities, convey implications and recommended actions, and prioritize work with high impact.
• Act as a trusted thought partner and propose innovative ideas to stimulate business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance ways of working, and boost team effectiveness.
• Develop capabilities and share best practices to improve team performance.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry, with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling abilities.
