This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies aimed at achieving sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leaders, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Develop and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, sustain, and enhance reporting and analytics frameworks.
• Assess and gauge the impact of key initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to capitalize on growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Provide support for category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Establish consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated insight-led solutions.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities, communicate implications and recommended actions, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Act as a trusted thought partner and propose innovative ideas to foster growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and boost team effectiveness.
• Cultivate capabilities and share best practices to improve team performance.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs evolve.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5–10 years of pertinent business experience within the CPG industry, either with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
