This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement strategies guided by insights to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic interactions with senior sales executives, sales leaders, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category assessments.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to derive shopper and business insights.
• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics systems.
• Assess the effectiveness of initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to seize growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category evaluations, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Cultivate consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated solutions.
• Recognize risks and opportunities, communicate their implications and recommended actions, and prioritize impactful work.
• Act as a thought partner by proposing insight-driven ideas to foster business growth.
• Enhance processes, working methods, and team efficiency.
• Develop skills and share best practices.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5–10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
