This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies throughout the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Direct analytical and strategic interactions with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category assessments that evaluate performance and uncover opportunities.
• Convert analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to derive shopper and business insights.
• Design, uphold, and enhance reporting and analytics systems.
• Assess and measure the impact of key initiatives, refining strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to pinpoint and activate growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program discussions, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside the Sales and Business Intelligence team, including travel as required for customer interaction and business priorities.
• Establish and nurture consultative relationships with key stakeholders.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, BI, and Marketing teams.
• Identify risks and opportunities, communicating their implications and suggested actions.
• Act as a trusted thought partner, proposing insight-driven ideas to foster business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance working methods, and improve overall team effectiveness.
• Develop team capabilities and share best practices to boost performance.
• Offer flexible support for additional customers or categories as business demands evolve.
• BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• 5–10 years of pertinent business experience in the CPG sector with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Exceptional analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
