Analytics Engineer, Data, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with consulting and project leaders to fulfill project-specific data analysis requirements.

• Implement ETL processes on diverse customer datasets.

• Conduct both standardized and ad hoc reporting and analysis.

• Create data visualizations utilizing Tableau and Microsoft Excel to present critical data insights.

• Continuously enhance and optimize the tools and processes utilized by the data team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science within a professional environment, or formal education in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).

• Proficiency in SQL (data modeling, ad hoc querying, and optimizing query performance).

• Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx, dbt, or Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages.

• Preferred: Knowledge of warehouse distribution, logistics, and operational processes.

• Preferred: Experience with Tableau (publishing curated datasets and understanding dashboard performance fundamentals).

• Preferred: Practical experience with Databricks.

• Preferred: Background in warehouse automation/intralogistics (AMRs, AutoStore, shuttle systems, sortation, WES/WCS).
