Data & Analytics Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow Data & Analytics Developers to realize the team's vision and roadmap as outlined by the Data & Analytics Manager.

• Engage with stakeholders across NEC to convert business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

• Contribute to data exploration and design data models for analytical initiatives.

• Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Design and automate workflows utilizing Power Automate.

• Create and launch custom business applications through Power Apps.

• Oversee reporting datasets and dataflows.

• Document and enhance the analytical reporting delivery process.

• Work alongside team members to ensure the compliance and security of reporting assets.

• Keep abreast of trends in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint, while recommending improvements.

• Identify new opportunities for the Data & Analytics division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Power BI Development, including DAX queries, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Proficient in the development of Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Strong interest in data analytics and workflow automation.

• Excellent diligence and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel throughout the UK as necessary.

• Familiarity with Power Tools: Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Experience in creating reports and dashboards, along with proficiency in using M query.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Teams.

• Exposure to AI concepts or a willingness to learn.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex situations to both end users and technical personnel.

• Must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary proof is required.

• Offers are contingent upon satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health assessments.

• A DBS check may be necessary depending on the role.

• Exposure to MS Fabric, Azure Data Services, Salesforce, SAP ECC Business Warehouse, or Dynamics CRM is a plus.

• Knowledge of Python, TSQL, and Excel Scripting is advantageous.
