Analyst, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Capture, analyze, and report data to assist Trinity Health leadership and enhance operational efficiency.

• Audit departmental information, generate reports, and recommend process improvements.

• Research, gather, compile, synthesize, and analyze operational and sourcing data.

• Collaborate on activities aimed at improving performance related to program efficiency and patient experience.

• Distribute analytical reports and develop educational materials.

• Support Strategic Sourcing Managers and the achievement of annual financial goals.

• Manage competitive bidding processes for low to low-medium risk, high-volume direct and indirect commodity or service projects.

• Draft contracts, contract amendments, RFPs, RFQs, and associated communications.

• Maintain awareness of GPO and Trinity contract portfolios, ensuring optimal agreement compliance.

• Coordinate contract approvals and monitor contract-related communications.

• Pre-qualify suppliers, assist in the creation of RFPs/RFIs, review responses, and evaluate product or service applicability.

• Complete contract amendments and requests for the contract lifecycle management system, tier reporting, SIPs, and Eloc.

• Gather, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets; create dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Conduct spend analysis, demand forecasting, supply market intelligence, and risk assessments.

• Identify opportunities for contract optimization and value creation.

• Analyze markets, vendor sources, product or service availability, supplier capabilities, and pricing.

• Review, redline, and draft contract language in partnership with the Legal team.

• Ensure effective handoff and implementation of executed contracts.

• Support contract management systems, audits, reporting, and process enhancements.

• Investigate purchasing and sourcing issues raised by ministries and provide guidance.

• Foster cost savings, efficiency improvements, and enhanced customer service.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business, supply chain management, or data science, along with at least 3 years of sourcing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• In-depth knowledge and skills in advanced data analytics and procurement practices.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization applications.

• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.

• Knowledge of information access and utilization, specification preparation, and bid and contract analysis.

• Ability to create and maintain precise records and reports.

• Capacity to identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving, research, and presentation skills.

• Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
