Analyst, Space Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with category advisor teams to execute customer shelf management strategies effectively.

• Deliver assortment and shelf recommendations based on a data-driven approach.

• Cultivate expertise in shelf management specific to the Spirits category.

• Foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners.

• Apply planogram recommendations utilizing JDA and Shelf IQ to enhance shopability, efficiency, conversion, and optimize space-to-sales.

• Assist in regular reporting on performance metrics and growth opportunities.

• Leverage syndicated data, retailer POS, and planogram information.

• Take ownership of designated tools, processes, and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Category Management Space Planning, ideally within CPG or Adult Beverage sectors.

• Strong technical skills with category management software systems.

• Familiarity with space planning software like JDA and/or Shelf IQ.

• Experience working with syndicated data sources.

• Excellent project management, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Advanced computer proficiency.

• Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capability to translate insights into effective store execution.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
