Analyst, Privacy – Privacy Assessments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage comprehensive privacy assessments for new products and features.

• Consolidate assessment results and facilitate remediation efforts in collaboration with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Align regulatory requirements with the privacy common controls framework.

• Determine necessary control updates in response to changing privacy obligations.

• Monitor privacy requirements and issues throughout the product lifecycle.

• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolutions with business stakeholders.

• Integrate into Product and Engineering roadmap planning.

• Provide guidance on privacy-by-design principles for onchain and web3 products.

• Identify and execute automation and AI-driven enhancements to processes.

• Optimize workflows for privacy assessment and issue management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in technology risk management with a focus on privacy or security.

• Practical experience in conducting privacy assessments (DPIAs/PIAs, data flow reviews, or similar).

• Proficient in mapping GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and ePrivacy requirements to operational controls and assessing remediation actions.

• Skilled in translating privacy legal directives and product specifications into functional requirements and actionable remediation strategies.

• Experience in managing a high volume of simultaneous assessments and stakeholder escalations across both technical and non-technical groups.

• Knowledge of applying privacy principles to blockchain, onchain, and web3 products, or a strong willingness to quickly develop this expertise.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
