This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and conduct thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.
• Implement incident-handling protocols across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Execute malware analysis.
• Conduct remote remediation of malware or other malicious activities.
• Enhance and refine processes for incident detection, triage, and the implementation of countermeasures.
• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Showcase industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.
• Contribute to the advancement of security processes and procedures.
• Identify and respond to incidents in real-time through CrowdStrike's virtual security operations center.
• Experience in incident handling, including managing incident responses and investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivist activities.
• Proficient background in computer forensic analysis using various forensic tools in incident response investigations.
• In-depth understanding of system internals and systems administration.
• Capability to perform both static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong grasp of targeted attacks with the ability to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation strategies.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting with languages such as PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• Possession of at least one relevant security certification.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
• Ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations with professionalism.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, boost efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
