This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Accurately and promptly complete order screening.
• Determine whether transactions are valid or fraudulent.
• Reach out to customers via phone to confirm purchases through regular inbound and outbound communication.
• Recognize and propose improvements to the fraud detection process.
• Detect fraud patterns and share insights with the team and management.
• Oversee voicemail, email, messages, and other communication channels for support requests.
• Foster effective working relationships with both internal and external departments.
• Examine customer transactions and fraud claims initiated by customers or financial institutions.
• Conduct address verification using both internal and third-party tools.
• Analyze information and reports to identify and address potential credit card fraud and other issues impacting the business.
• A minimum of two years of full-time work experience.
• Preferably, at least one year of experience in a customer service or call center environment.
• Experience in e-commerce, online payments, credit card processing, fraud screening, law enforcement, or online investigations is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient typing skills and a professional telephone demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Highly proactive and inherently curious.
• Ability to comprehend multiple systems and processes.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while managing stress and adhering to deadlines.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and possesses a strong attendance record.
• Flexible availability for a 5-day workweek, including Saturdays and/or Sundays and holidays; shifts may vary based on business requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
