Analyst Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Become a member of the development team, engaging in various development tasks every Sprint.

• Conduct a range of software development activities, which include requirements gathering, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.

• Uphold product quality and ensure its maintainability.

• Organize your workload efficiently and communicate any delays or obstacles to the team in a timely manner.

• Create new features for a robust and scalable product that serves thousands of users at large enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related field in Information Technology; or a university degree in any discipline complemented by a specialization in Information Technology.

• Proven experience in developing financial systems.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices: Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery, as well as DevOps methodologies.

• Proficient with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.

• Experienced with ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Knowledgeable in functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Well-versed in design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.

• Experienced in microservices architecture and development, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledgeable in transitioning monolithic systems to microservices.

• Familiarity with relational data modeling, layered architecture, and MVC frameworks.

• Understanding of messaging systems, JMS, Web services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.

• Knowledge of PWA applications, Java Swing, TDD, ATDD, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Proficient in JavaScript/ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Knowledgeable in UX, usability, and test automation tools such as JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.

• Familiar with mocks/stubs and interface virtualization techniques.

• Experienced in Java Web technologies: JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java, Apache Velocity, Spring, JSF, JPA, and Struts.

• Well-versed with JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty servers, and the Quarkus framework.

• Knowledgeable in multi-tenancy architecture, Linux, and SonarQube.

• Familiar with reverse engineering, CMT, and SQL.

• Experienced with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• Skills in MUMPS, Caché, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.

• Desirable knowledge in CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.

• Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.

• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.

• Experience in financial technologies like J/XFS and banking peripherals.

• Background in cryptography.

• Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer, along with CSD and PSD certifications, are preferred but not required.
