Analyst Charge – Revenue Integrity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Capture, analyze, and report data to aid Trinity Health leadership and improve operational efficiency.

• Conduct audits of departmental information and generate analytical reports.

• Research, gather, and analyze data to identify opportunities and formulate solutions.

• Collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing program efficiency and patient experience.

• Distribute analytical reports to relevant stakeholders.

• Utilize various system applications for analysis, reporting, and educational materials.

• Compile data for ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives.

• Synthesize data and present summaries with graphical representations, trends, and recommendations.

• Ensure accurate CPT and/or ICD-10 documentation for patient billing purposes.

• Educate colleagues and providers on proper documentation practices and coding accuracy.

• Maintain documentation for charge capture and ensure adherence to review processes.

• Identify issues such as missing, duplicate, late, or erroneous charges and coordinate corrective actions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on system modifications and process enhancements.

• Oversee charge reconciliation processes for designated departments.

• Execute charge entry, approvals, quality reviews, modifier appending, and clinical documentation checks.

• Review issues related to charge denials, perform root cause analysis, and provide educational support.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience in a hospital and/or physician practice setting.

• Experience in revenue cycle management, billing, coding, and/or patient financial services.

• Familiarity with current medical terminology, data entry, supply chain processes, and hospital or medical group practice operations.

• Knowledge of revenue cycle front-end functions, including patient registration, billing, and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to assist clinical departments and/or physician practices with changes to charging practices based on guidelines.

• Preferred credentials include RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, AAPC, or LVN/LPN licensure.

• CHC certification is preferred.

• CHRI certification/membership is strongly preferred.
