This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct research for the New England Heat Pump Accelerator utilizing quantitative and/or qualitative methods.
β’ Analyze research to extract insights from literature reviews, code/policy/program research, stakeholder interviews or surveys, large existing datasets, innovation project data, and program performance metrics.
β’ Assist in the creation of external client deliverables, which include case studies, program reports, client memos, project tracking, research findings reports and presentations, and public-facing educational content.
β’ Provide support for project and program tasks under the guidance of a program team lead.
β’ Participate in program meetings and aid in task management, file/document management, program administration, and record keeping.
β’ Contribute to the development of methodologies and approaches, occasionally leading specific tasks.
β’ Offer support to other VEIC staff, groups, and divisions as necessary.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in applying qualitative analysis techniques and data management practices.
β’ Competence in data management and manipulation.
β’ Strong research abilities, including reviewing project reports or policy/regulatory information, synthesizing data, and drafting client memos.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
β’ Proven ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and precise.
β’ General proficiency with standard office computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
β’ Experience with energy efficiency and/or building electrification analysis, programs, or policies is preferred.
β’ A general understanding of regional energy and climate policies, utility programs, and decarbonization initiatives across New England or a willingness to learn is preferred.
β’ All positions require a criminal background check.
β’ Ability to remain stationary at a workstation for prolonged periods.
β’ Regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone/headset.
β’ Visual acuity for extended viewing of digital screens, documents, and presentations.
β’ Sufficient verbal and auditory capabilities for meetings, presentations, calls, and virtual collaboration.
β’ Cognitive focus for managing multiple communication streams, projects, and stakeholder relationships.
β’ Minimal lifting requirements, typically under 15 pounds.
