This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee the AmpSeq program as a strategic platform for growth, focusing on revenue generation, customer conversion, operational scaling, service readiness, and program outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional transformations within NGS workflows, encourage portal adoption, design panels, execute pilots, scale manufacturing, support BioIT, enforce quality controls, and onboard customers.
• Balance strategic program leadership with the resolution of operational issues while managing short-term delivery risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Product Development, Innovation Hub, BioIT, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, PMO, site leaders, and senior executives.
• Provide updates on the program, escalation documents, decision logs, risk summaries, KPI reports, and communications for leadership.
• Direct both direct and matrixed teams, assign accountable owners, clarify decision-making rights, and foster capability development.
• Own the governance of the program, including operational meetings, escalation reviews, steering committee decisions, intake reviews, action tracking, decision logging, and risk management.
• Utilize expertise in NGS services, AmpSeq customer workflows, design-to-pilot processes, kit manufacturing, service delivery, BioIT dependencies, quality standards, and operational scaling.
• Propel enhancements in turnaround time, first-time-right performance, traceability, inventory management, workflow standardization, dashboarding, and operational transitions.
• Establish and oversee KPIs for revenue advancement, opportunity conversion, panel design, pilot progress, turnaround time, manufacturing readiness, capacity, quality, and customer fulfillment.
• Ensure that program activities align with LGC policies, quality expectations, EHS standards, customer commitments, data controls, and operational benchmarks.
• Execute additional responsibilities as needed to support the growth of AmpSeq, business continuity, and strategic delivery objectives.
• Conduct periodic site visits to laboratory, manufacturing, and service settings.
• A degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, molecular biology, genomics, biotechnology, operations, program management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading complex cross-functional programs within life sciences, genomics, laboratory services, manufacturing, operations, or commercial delivery sectors.
• Proven capability in managing strategic programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, stakeholders, and governance requirements from senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of operational scaling, customer onboarding, service delivery, supply chain dependencies, quality requirements, and process governance.
• Proficient in utilizing dashboards, action logs, decision logs, risk registers, and KPI reports to enhance accountability and program delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify intricate operational and technical matters for executive, commercial, technical, and site-based audiences.
• Familiarity with NGS, AmpSeq, KASP, FlexSeq, or similar high-throughput genotyping service platforms.
• Experience in collaborating across multiple global sites and managing delivery through matrixed teams.
• A formal project or program management qualification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with ERP, LIMS, Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other tools for operational planning and reporting.
• Understanding of customer-facing technical programs, product launch readiness, validation, manufacturing readiness, and service implementation.
• Current U.S. work authorization is required.
