This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
β’ Oversee the AmpSeq program as a key growth initiative, enhancing revenue, customer conversion, operational scalability, service preparedness, and program results.
β’ Lead cross-functional transformations across NGS workflows, portal integration, panel design, pilot implementation, manufacturing expansion, BioIT support, quality assurance, and customer onboarding.
β’ Balance strategic program leadership with resolving operational challenges and managing immediate delivery risks.
β’ Develop a sustainable future-state operational framework.
β’ Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Product Development, Innovation Hub, BioIT, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, PMO, site leadership, and upper management.
β’ Deliver program updates, escalation documentation, decision logs, risk assessments, KPI reporting, and communications for leadership.
β’ Guide both direct and matrixed teams, assign accountable roles, define decision-making authority, and facilitate capability advancement.
β’ Manage the program governance model, which includes operational meetings, escalation reviews, steering committee decisions, review of intake and questionnaires, action tracking, decision monitoring, and risk management.
β’ Leverage expertise in NGS services, AmpSeq customer workflows, design-to-pilot protocols, kit production, service delivery, BioIT interdependencies, quality standards, and operational scalability.
β’ Implement enhancements in turnaround time, first-time-right performance, traceability, inventory control, workflow standardization, dashboarding, and operational transitions.
β’ Set and oversee KPIs related to revenue growth, opportunity conversion, panel design, pilot progress, turnaround time, manufacturing readiness, capacity, quality, and customer fulfillment.
β’ Conduct regular site inspections of laboratory, manufacturing, and service areas.
β’ Ensure adherence to LGC policies, quality standards, EHS regulations, customer commitments, data governance, and operational benchmarks.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to support the growth of AmpSeq and strategic delivery objectives.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, molecular biology, genomics, biotechnology, operations, program management, or a related field.
β’ Extensive experience in leading intricate cross-functional programs within life sciences, genomics, laboratory services, manufacturing, operations, or commercial delivery sectors.
β’ Proven capability to manage strategic programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, stakeholders, and senior leadership governance requirements.
β’ Strong comprehension of operational scaling, customer onboarding, service delivery, supply chain dependencies, quality demands, and process governance.
β’ Proficient in utilizing dashboards, action logs, decision logs, risk registers, and KPI reporting tools.
β’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to clarify complex operational and technical matters for executive, commercial, technical, and site-based audiences.
β’ Familiarity with NGS, AmpSeq, KASP, FlexSeq, or similar high-throughput genotyping service platforms is preferred.
β’ Experience working across multiple global sites and overseeing delivery through matrixed teams is preferred.
β’ Formal project or program management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
β’ Experience with ERP, LIMS, Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other operational planning and reporting tools is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of customer-facing technical programs, product launch readiness, validation, manufacturing readiness, and service implementation is preferred.
β’ Current authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
