This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee the AmpSeq programme as a key growth initiative, focusing on revenue generation, customer conversion, operational expansion, service readiness, and programme results.
• Guide cross-functional transformations across NGS workflows, portal integration, panel design, pilot implementation, manufacturing scaling, BioIT support, quality assurance, and customer onboarding.
• Balance strategic programme management with the resolution of operational issues and the development of a sustainable future operational model.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Product Development, Innovation Hub, BioIT, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, PMO, site leadership, and senior executives.
• Deliver programme updates, escalation documentation, decision records, risk assessments, KPI reporting, and leadership communications.
• Lead both direct and matrixed teams, designate accountable owners, clarify decision-making authority, and foster capability development.
• Manage programme governance, including operational meetings, escalation reviews, steering committee decisions, intake and questionnaire evaluations, action tracking, decision tracking, and risk management.
• Utilize expertise in NGS services, AmpSeq customer processes, design-to-pilot workflows, kit production, service delivery, BioIT dependencies, quality standards, and operational scaling.
• Propel enhancements in turnaround time, first-time-right performance, traceability, inventory management, workflow standardization, dashboarding, and operational transitions.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for revenue growth, opportunity conversion, panel design, pilot progress, turnaround time, manufacturing readiness, capacity, quality, and customer fulfillment.
• Ensure adherence to LGC policies, quality standards, EHS regulations, customer commitments, data management, and operational benchmarks.
• Undertake additional responsibilities that support AmpSeq growth, business continuity, and strategic delivery goals.
• Primarily engage in office, meeting, and virtual work with occasional visits to laboratory, manufacturing, and service environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, molecular biology, genomics, biotechnology, operations, programme management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading intricate cross-functional programmes in life sciences, genomics, laboratory services, manufacturing, operations, or commercial delivery settings.
• Proven ability to manage strategic programmes with various workstreams, interdependencies, risks, stakeholders, and senior leadership governance needs.
• Strong grasp of operational scaling, customer onboarding, service delivery, supply chain dependencies, quality standards, and process governance.
• Proficient in utilizing dashboards, action logs, decision logs, risk registers, and KPI reporting.
• Excellent communication skills tailored for executive, commercial, technical, and site-based audiences.
• Familiarity with NGS, AmpSeq, KASP, FlexSeq, or similar high-throughput genotyping service platforms.
• Experience working across multiple global locations and managing delivery through matrixed teams.
• Possession of formal project or programme management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficient with ERP, LIMS, Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other operational planning and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of customer-facing technical programmes, product launch readiness, validation, manufacturing readiness, and service implementation.
• Current U.S. work authorization is required.
