Americas Network Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery and operational effectiveness of network services throughout the Americas region.

• Guarantee that network services are provided punctually, within defined parameters, and in alignment with organizational and project objectives.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, business, and vendor teams to effectively implement network initiatives.

• Support consistent and dependable network operations, including the coordination of major incidents and problem resolution.

• Offer technical direction in areas such as routing, switching, wireless networking, connectivity, and network security solutions.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance protocols, and change management procedures.

• Oversee vendor operations to facilitate service delivery and adhere to project timelines.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing network reliability, operational effectiveness, and service excellence.

• Manage a team of network engineers and contractors while supervising network services across the United States, Canada, and Brazil.

• Report directly to the Global Network Services Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or related infrastructure fields.

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, Software Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and coordinating resources across various locations.

• Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP Voice, and network authentication.

• Experience in delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects and managing multiple competing priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to sustain secure, resilient network environments and tackle cybersecurity-related issues.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management abilities.

• Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, mining, or processing sectors is highly desirable.
