Amazon Connect Engineer – IVR/VRU

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and execute IVR/VRU solutions utilizing Amazon Connect.

• Create contact flows for Amazon Connect and manage both inbound and outbound voice call workflows.

• Establish contact routing and orchestrate call flows.

• Diagnose issues within voice applications.

• Construct RESTful APIs and perform integrations using Python and/or Node.js.

• Develop and oversee AWS services and infrastructure.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.

• Utilize Git and AI-assisted development tools like Devin AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Amazon Connect is essential.

• Familiarity with Amazon Pinpoint, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, AWS IAM, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS Secrets Manager.

• Experience with AWS Step Functions is preferred.

• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.

• Expertise in Amazon Connect contact flows.

• Skills in IVR/VRU design and implementation.

• Understanding of inbound and outbound voice call workflows.

• Ability to manage contact routing and call flow orchestration.

• Experience in troubleshooting voice applications.

• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.

• Knowledge in RESTful API development.

• Familiarity with JSON.

• Experience with AWS SDK development.

• Proficient in Git.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Devin AI.
