This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee and sustain the Care Fellowship alumni network, which includes maintaining the alumni database, contact details, and engagement history.
• Execute alumni engagement objectives and initiatives while monitoring priorities, timelines, and subsequent actions.
• Create and uphold a structured engagement pathway for alumni to enhance their skills and leadership prospects.
• Manage outreach and communication with alumni, which encompasses newsletters, invitations, and follow-up strategies.
• Organize logistics and scheduling for network events, calls, and training sessions.
• Conduct regular discussions with the Care Fellow Network to foster community and gather feedback.
• Link alumni with campaign programs and opportunities, including the 1 Million Care Conversations initiative.
• Integrate language justice and disability justice into access resources.
• Document and share alumni narratives for campaign and media/press storytelling purposes.
• Maintain a repository of alumni and Fellow narratives.
• Collaborate with Communications, Culture Change, Development, Digital, and Campaigns teams.
• Assist in the operational aspects of the Care Fellowship program, including inbox management, contracts, payment requests, files, trackers, templates, agendas, notes, and action items.
• Enhance project management systems and tools.
• Provide regular updates to the Associate Director of Training and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor alumni engagement, attendance, and participation metrics.
• Engage in retreats, staff meetings, supervision, team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• 4–6 years of experience in advocacy and movements, with a focus on organizing, community outreach, or program coordination.
• Proven experience in coordinating networks, events, or programs, including scheduling, logistics, and managing multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management and digital outreach tools, such as Asana, Slack, or a constituent database.
• Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to adhere to deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with changing priorities.
• Quick learner with the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple deadlines, and address issues with a focus on detail, maturity, judgment, and discretion.
• Effectiveness in working with diverse groups and within a team setting.
• Dedication to the organization's mission, values, and goals.
• Proven commitment to racial equity and gender justice, as well as building a multicultural, anti-racist organization.
• Familiarity with integrating language justice and disability justice into access resources.
• Access to reliable WiFi and good phone reception.
• Travel required: 10% for team retreats and organizational events.
• This position is union-eligible, represented by Communication Workers of America Local 1180.
