This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Address and resolve account challenges with customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with shared priorities to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office professionals to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Utilize market knowledge, competitive landscape insights, and cross-functional expertise to identify opportunities and tackle challenges.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to gain local insights and lead customer interactions, whether virtually or in-person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to address complex challenges across various functions.
• Provide real-time access support and work alongside Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach efforts in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
• Act as the primary contact for accounts and healthcare providers, fostering connections and identifying shared goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Candidates must have experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the past 5 years; applicants from medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B industries are also encouraged to apply.
• A demonstrated history of high performance is essential.
• Experience in navigating and selling to substantial accounts and key customers is required.
• Strong analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and apply relevant information to resolve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership qualities with the ability to cultivate an environment that encourages ethical behavior and compliance.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or be within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography, which may involve driving and/or flying within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is mandatory.
• Associate level: recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory level: at least 2 years of experience in a relevant sales position within the last 5 years.
• Senior level: a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive level: 10+ years’ experience in a relevant sales position within the last 5 years.
• Must successfully complete initial training, which includes home study of up to 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate vaccination.
