This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Conduct remote reviews, evaluations, and interpretations of radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other digitally submitted diagnostic images.
• Utilize voice dictation software to dictate diagnostic imaging reports.
• Engage in collaborative communication with colleagues through the AIS chat group.
• Consult with clients and veterinary professionals through phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams, and various other communication platforms.
• Interact with AIS technical support and other relevant personnel.
• Participate in AIS clinic rounds, journal club, employee meetings, and opportunities for professional enrichment.
• Engage in ACVR and other continuing education activities.
• Contribute to quality control programs.
• Maintain clinical diagnostic proficiency and stay updated on diagnostic theories, methodologies, and treatments.
• Assist with veterinary teleradiology responsibilities.
• Take part in enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to ethical standards, company policies, and veterinary professional standards.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification.
• Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI).
• Proficient in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.
• Must possess a license to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant state.
• Proficiency in English.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong commitment to high medical quality and adherence to the veterinary code of ethics.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of effective collaboration with teams, clients, and management.
• Capability to work remotely with minimal oversight.
