Airline Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Perform market research, analyze properties, and manage market RFPs for crew accommodations.

• Negotiate terms and rates for crew, distressed passengers, and establish universal rates across hotels and transportation.

• Finalize contracts for hotels and transport services catering to distressed passengers, as well as universal-rate arrangements.

• Monitor market trends for price fluctuations and identify associated risks and opportunities.

• Create pricing comparisons and evaluate final options for hotels and transport.

• Generate market intelligence reports for smaller cities.

• Recognize potential savings and revenue opportunities within markets.

• Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assess hotels and transportation vendors against client specifications.

• Prepare, deliver, and present necessary deliverables.

• Engage in product development by providing feedback and user insights.

• Cultivate relationships with hotel and transportation vendors.

• Ensure accuracy in work prior to handover.

• Follow up with Account Management until business is successfully placed.

• Complete and negotiate fee agreements as required.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel brands and management companies.

• Compile and submit assigned reports, including a monthly time tracker.

• Manage contact database within RFP tools.

• Address market escalations as needed.

• Achieve departmental objectives and performance benchmarks.

• Undertake additional assigned tasks.

• Travel and conduct hotel site visits as required.

• Strong knowledge and comprehension of both the Aviation and Hospitality sectors.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach to form partnerships and alliances.

• Outstanding time management, prioritization, and follow-up abilities.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Strong financial acumen with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent computer proficiency, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and Zoom.

• Capability to learn new platforms and tools.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

• Trilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel and conduct hotel site visits as assigned.
