This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Offer operational assistance to the TFDM program office and field locations prior to and during system implementation.
• Coordinate activities and ensure effective communication between TFDM personnel and field locations.
• Deliver training sessions utilizing validated TFDM Air Traffic instructional materials.
• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience; a Master’s degree with at least seven (7) years of experience; or a PhD/JD with four (4) years or more of experience.
• Significant experience in the design, development, and installation of NAS air traffic modernization initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of air traffic operations and procedures within both the en route and terminal sectors.
• Familiarity with TFDM functionality.
• Experience in integrating collaborative efforts involving decision support systems.
• Proven ability to provide support and maintain communication at operational field sites during system rollouts.
• Capability to liaise with diverse organizations within the FAA, including AMO, AJV, AJT, AJW, and NATCA.
• Proficient in utilizing MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the 7110.65 and its relevance in the NAS.
• Comprehension of the FAA’s automation and traffic management frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at using both technical and accessible language.
• Adaptable personality, self-driven, and willing to handle multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong capabilities in researching and analyzing complex technical information and systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Competence in identifying and resolving issues to enhance the value of system investments.
• Outstanding troubleshooting abilities.
• Established analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Capacity to meet FAA resume and security clearance requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Opportunity for remote work when not traveling.
• Travel may be required up to 75% of the time.
