AI Workflow Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop our agentic SDLC pipeline by designing, implementing, and managing agentic workflows throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, code generation, review, testing, documentation, and release, all integrated with our GitOps and CI/CD infrastructure.

• Enhance developer experience by integrating modern AI solutions into the daily activities of our engineering team, such as coding agents, automated reviews, intelligent test generation, and self-service tools that eliminate friction and increase productivity.

• Create reliable and trustworthy systems by constructing retrieval-grounded and context-aware AI systems that deliver dependable, verifiable outcomes and designing the evaluation harnesses necessary to validate them.

• Set up governance and guardrails by defining and implementing the policies, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, audit trails, and security measures that enable us to responsibly adopt agentic AI in environments where trust is essential.

• Standardize and expand by transforming successful practices into repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and internal platforms that extend agentic acceleration beyond engineering to the entire organization.

• Advocate for the practice by promoting, teaching, and supporting AI adoption within the team; you will act as a force multiplier rather than a silo.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3+ years of practical experience working with AI/LLM systems in production environments.

• 2+ years of experience in designing and managing agentic workflows and pipelines, including multi-step agent orchestration, tool utilization, evaluation, and governance.

• Experience working closely with modern development teams utilizing GitOps and CI/CD (mandatory).

• Familiarity with grounded AI methodologies: RAG, context engineering, structured outputs, and evaluation/observability for LLM systems.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python; comfortable working with our technology stack (Angular/React frontends on Express web applications).

• Genuine alignment with a continuous delivery culture in the style of Allspaw/Hammond, Phoenix Project (Kim) emphasizing small batches, rapid feedback, blameless learning, and operational excellence.

• A proactive self-starter attitude: you identify opportunities to accelerate the team and take initiative to build, measure, and share solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining an agentic architecture to an engineer and its ROI to an executive.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States; this role is remote within the US.

• Base salary range: $150,000–$200,000, based on experience, in addition to benefits.
