AI UX Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform initial designs into refined, production-ready user interfaces.

• Conceptualize and develop new workflows from inception to deployment using the Storybook component system.

• Engage in merchant discussions and demonstrations.

• Analyze support tickets and review session recordings to guide design choices.

• Take ownership of conversion rates, user activation, and time-to-value metrics for revamped workflows.

• Create and execute Playwright testing scripts.

• Leverage Claude Code, Claude Design, and other AI tools to expedite project completion.

• Manage the design-to-deployment process for at least one product category.

• Collaborate with the product lead and directly address merchant feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A keen designer's perspective with a strong focus on visual intricacies.

• Commercial acumen centered on merchant success, conversion rates, and user engagement.

• Proficiency in contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Capability to independently deliver your front-end projects.

• Extensive UX knowledge across various workflows, states, and mobile interfaces.

• Experience with Claude and similar AI tools.

• Ability to rapidly iterate in dynamic, resource-limited, high-intensity startup settings.

• Familiarity with Storybook and design systems.

• Experience with Playwright automated testing.

• Background in commerce, checkout, payments, or conversion optimization is advantageous.

• Experience in motion and interaction design is a plus.

• A design-school education in UX is a plus.

• Experience managing a store, product, or side project with real user interaction is a plus.
