AI Threat Emulation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and evaluate threat actor emulation tools, strategies, and procedures for Red Team assessments focused on application, system, and network security measures.

• Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to effectively replicate the current threat landscape.

• Engage with cross-functional teams during project testing phases to ensure that security controls address threats and are appropriately validated.

• Provide consultation to cross-functional teams during architectural design and review meetings.

• Organize and oversee third-party penetration testing engagements, including communications, requirements, and reporting.

• Evaluate, mentor, and enhance the skills of Red Team members.

• Assist in formulating remediation strategies for findings in conjunction with cross-functional teams and owners of applications and technology systems.

• Support the Red Team manager in evaluating and advancing team capabilities.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in Cyber Security.

• 5-7+ years in Penetration testing/Red Team roles.

• An Associate's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in developing AI red team and/or AI threat emulation capabilities.

• Ability to assess third-party AI red team and/or AI threat emulation capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of security architecture and tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of Threat Actors and their tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Advanced proficiency with Security Assessment Toolsets.

• Extensive experience in automation and scripting for applications and systems.

• Expert understanding of relational databases and structured query language.

• Deep knowledge of client/server relationships and multi-tier environments.

• Possession of OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, or GXPN certifications.

• Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly.
