AI Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with domain experts across various departments to identify workflows, challenges, and bottlenecks.

• Develop and deploy automation solutions, minimum viable products (MVPs), custom scripts, and API integrations.

• Evolve solutions into well-managed and resilient agents.

• Establish metrics with stakeholders, monitor adoption and return on investment (ROI), and prioritize initiatives based on feasibility, risk, and business impact.

• Design, construct, assess, and manage AI workflows.

• Implement evaluation frameworks, safeguards, observability, and feedback mechanisms.

• Provide guidance to non-technical teams on assessing, configuring, and utilizing AI features within their SaaS ecosystem.

• Mentor colleagues in AI development and create reusable documentation and training resources.

• Showcase emerging AI capabilities across the organization.

• Lead the development of hosted and local harnesses by utilizing problems, prototypes, and workflows generated with various departments.

• Evaluate model performance and optimize prompt/token utilization.

• Oversee API latency management and monitor associated operational costs.

• Ensure that AI initiatives at the departmental level comply with company policies regarding data privacy, security, and ethical usage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Go or JavaScript, preferably both.

• Familiarity with standard engineering practices, including version control and testing methodologies.

• Practical experience in building or contributing to applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) or managing intricate workflows with AI tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of AI-driven projects, encompassing agent design, skills, context, and memory functionalities.

• Experience with APIs and managed cloud platforms (MCPs) such as Jira, GitHub, or Salesforce.

• Ability to simplify complex machine learning and engineering concepts into clear, business-friendly terms.

• Proven ability to analyze business operations and derive technical requirements from ambiguous challenges.

• Competence in prioritizing solutions based on return on investment.

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work independently within non-technical departments.
