AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Quickly create functional prototypes of AI-driven tools, workflows, and applications using platforms like Lovable, Claude, Retool, n8n, and other AI-assisted development resources.

• Transform loosely defined problems from customers, Solutions Engineering, and internal teams into operational demos and proofs of concept.

• Develop and refine internal tools, dashboards, and automations to minimize manual tasks and enhance time-to-resolution.

• Integrate prototypes with real data through APIs, integrations, and data sources such as Supabase or comparable backends.

• Present prototypes to stakeholders and customers over time, integrating feedback through rapid iteration cycles.

• Document developments and transfer validated concepts to Product Management and Engineering with well-defined scaling requirements.

• Adhere to responsible development practices, including version control, access management, and company standards for AI tools.

• Collaborate with senior forward-deployed engineers while assuming greater technical depth and customer-facing responsibilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing functioning software or applications using AI-assisted and low-code development platforms such as Lovable, Claude, Retool, n8n, or similar.

• Proficient in working with APIs, data sources, and integrations utilizing real data.

• A builder’s mindset that highlights speed, curiosity, practicality, and sound judgment.

• Capability to convert ambiguous problem statements into demonstrable solutions without needing detailed specifications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present demos to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Eagerness to learn about Fortress platform capabilities, customer workflows, and cybersecurity principles.

• Must qualify for a U.S. security clearance; successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required.

• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or SQL beyond low-code platforms.

• Experience with Supabase, Postgres, similar backends, and authentication concepts like SSO.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, or agent workflows.

• Background in SaaS, cybersecurity, supply chain, risk management, or enterprise software.

• A portfolio of side projects, internal tools, or delivered prototypes.

• Interest in progressing into a customer-embedded Forward Deployed Engineer role.
