AI Solutions Architect – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design scalable end-to-end architectures for AI applications, including RAG pipelines and multi-agent systems.

• Strategize the integration of AI architectures into current IT environments.

• Independently design and construct functional prototypes (Proof of Concepts).

• Collaborate on the technical concept and logical framework of proprietary software tools.

• Evaluate technology stacks independently and communicate trade-offs clearly.

• Provide technical leadership in various projects.

• Convert business requirements into technical blueprints.

• Manage communication with clients' internal IT departments.

• Develop concepts for testing, monitoring, and establishing guardrails.

• Integrate compliance-by-design with ethics and legal considerations, including the EU AI Act and data protection.

• Assist the founding team during pitches.

• Transform client requests into practical technical concepts and outline technological limits.

• Make decisions on whether to build or buy solutions.

• Evaluate technical capabilities and identify the need for scaling the internal team.

• Offer technical support and insights for the founding team.

• Participate in the recruitment and organization of the future engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or data/ML engineering.

• Proven hands-on experience with production-grade GenAI systems in recent years.

• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agent-based/multi-agent systems.

• Proficient in Python and knowledgeable about LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, and MCP.

• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as on-premise setups.

• Background in client engagements or close collaboration with customers.

• Ability to simplify complex deep-tech topics for C-level executives, business units, and committees.

• Fluent in both German and English (business proficiency).

• Strong understanding of feasibility and resource estimation.

• Willingness to potentially lead a growing engineering team.
